The highlight, however, was the lovingly prepared breakfast that offered a sumptuous variety of homemade delicacies; truly one of the best I've ever encountered, echoing my family's love for fresh and hearty meals while on the road. The hotel exudes a unique charm, thanks to its private management and attention to detail, making it feel like a home away from home rather than just another anonymous space. After a long day of hiking along the picturesque trails of the Rothaargebirge, the rooftop terrace - with its stunning views - provided a perfect spot to unwind with a refreshing drink and share moments with my family.
